If you are married to a chef, what color are your dinner plates at home?
How many sets do you have?
I’d love to know! Tell me in the comments below!
From one chef’s wife to another,
PS: I was playing around with shooting video in front of a green screen. Ignore the semi-transparent plate halfway through – lol. 🙂
We have white plates too! I am a total minimalist though, and I actually chose the ones that we have – white one top, and black on the bottom. My husband obviously approved, though. 🙂
That’s what I’m hearing from others on Facebook too. All white dishes! It’s so funny to me. 🙂
I am not married to a chef (though he’d love to be one!), but we have white dishes. After searching forever for some white square plates back when they were all the rage, I found some white square with rounded corners plates and bowls from Dollar Tree. And they are my favorite plates ever! They’re so easy to clean, and they never break, even though they get dropped quite often. And if they do break, who cares? They’re from Dollar Tree. 🙂
The Dollar tree? 🙂 I should hop over there for some dishes to use outside this summer. The girls have already broken 2 this season. Maybe I’ll even get some that are not white! Gasp! 🙂
I have been cooking professionally for several years, and I agree. My plates are very simple, though they are white with a minimalist style black cherry tree branch on them. Cute plates can be had! But simple is definitely best when plating food, it distracts less from the true beauty of a dish.
