I will admit, this really has nothing to do with being a chef’s wife or raising a family with a chef.
However, it’s impossible for me to have a list of favorite things and leave this off.
I’m in love!
If you’ve never heard of Stitch Fix, it’s a company that puts together a shipment of clothing based on a personal profile you set up on their site and on a Pinterest board. I was very skeptical that someone could send 5 items of clothing in a box that would somehow fit my 6′ 1″ body, without even knowing me. I was so surprised when the fist box arrived and everything fit and was amazing!! And then the second box showed up and those items fit perfectly as well . . . I was hooked!!
One of the things I really like about this process, is that you don’t have much to lose – only $20. You pay a styling fee for each shipment. In the end, the $20 goes toward your purchase of the items in the box. If you decide none of them are right for you, you can return them all, but you do not get back the styling fee. Not too bad of a deal.

I just LOVE black and white polka dots. Our 6 year old walked in the room and said I looked like a superhero with a cape! Best. Shirt. EVER!! Thanks Stitch Fix! 🙂
Box 3
Unfortunately, box 3 was not a great box for me. I only ended up keeping one of the items because the others didn’t fit quite right. This is the first box I asked them to lower the price on, so I’m wondering if that is the reason.

I really didn’t like this shirt when I first put it on, but now it might be one of the favorite things in my wardrobe!! I get compliments on it every time I wear it.
I wasn’t too sure about this dress at first, but now I LOVE it!
These jeans are my favorite item so far! They are so comfortable and look how long they are!! (I never would have picked out the cardigan, but it’s beautiful (and long.)
