My blog and social media accounts have been silent for the week as our family took a much needed vacation.
Goodbye Seattle!
For the past week, we have been spoiled and very well taken care of aboard the Rhapsody of the Seas. We enjoyed an entire week together as a family and Tom and I even had some time together as a couple, thanks to the amazing Kid’d Club aboard the ship!
I was a bit uneasy taking our 3 young girls on a cruise with us, but they did so well and absolutely loved it, as did we.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food on board and the service was absolutely amazing!
Words really can’t describe what a great week this was for our family as we cruised and visited Alaska and Victoria, British Columbia.
Unfortunately, now we are home, my chef/husband is working 7 days in a row and the girls and I are going to try and enjoy our last full week of summer vacation. Back to reality! 🙁

My chef and I would love to take a cruise, with the kids or without. Glad you guys had a great time. Was it hard for your hubby to let go of work for the week? And did work leave him alone while you were gone? My hubby seems to get texts and calls on his days off, kind of annoys me. Especially considering he is not the head chef. Call the big guy, not my guy. 🙂
Thanks. My husband had an auto reply on his email and also let everyone know the week before that he would be unavailable for the week. There was no cell service on the ship, except in port and the wi-fi was $.85 a minute, which we were not willing to pay. So there was really no way to reach him. It truly was a break!! Yeah!!! 🙂
